School Context
For this assignment what we had to do was take a picture of the school and add different pictures in them. This was a cool assignment because it was interesting to see what weird things I could put in my photo. The christmas tree is really blurry because the internet wasn't working so I had to use the smaller image.

Bike Assignment
Today we went outside to take pictures of Mr. Bush riding his bike. We worked with shutter speed and the aperture. Most of my pictures were blurry because something technical wasn't right, or if the pictures were clear they weren't centered. What I learned was how to take pictures of motion with the shutter speed. I knew this before but I feel that I have a better understanding of it.

Gimp Car Assignment

For this assignment we had to use GIMP. We had a picture of a car that we had to edit on GIMP. We learned many tools that were on the program. I learned how to darken the back round and the wind shield of car. I also learned how to add color in the photo by using the clone tool. Overall I enjoyed using GIMP for this assignment, and I want to use it in the future.

Still Life
The picture I chose was an apple sitting on my table. I like how the back round is blurry and the apple is really clear. Although there is dust on the table I think it's interesting how you can see it.
Aperture: 2.6
ISO: 200
Exposure: 2/5
For these photos what I did was Still Life. I took a lot of pictures of apples because I was trying to get interesting angles and capture the back round. I took photos of rocks and tried to make the rocks really clear.

Nature
I chose this picture because i think it has a really clear view of the flower. I like how the back round is slightly blurry while the flower is clear. I enjoyed taking this picture because the flower is really pretty and I think if you saw it from far away you really wouldn't appreciate it's beauty, but when looking at the photo you can see how nice it comes out in a photo.

Shutter Speed: 1/80
Aperture: 5
ISO: 80
I chose these photos because I think they all show my skills I have learned so far in this class. I liked doing nature because I got to appreciate a little more things going on outside that I may have not thought about before.

Photos Of Inspiration 1
For my photos of inspiration what I'm going to do is animals. I'm going to do animals because I have two dogs at home. I really want to capture a photo of my dog playing with one her toys so I can use the aperture setting. It would be cool to get a blurry view of the toy or of my dog

I picked these pictures because they all have a clear picture of the dog and what it's doing. I am really excited to see what kind of pictures I can get with my dogs. I am really looking forward to this assignment.

Composition 2
This assignment was taking photos trying to capture framing, perspective, space, balance, and color. With the photos I took I think I did a good job capturing all these things, My favorite picture is my framing. I think it's an interesting shot of angles. For my perspective shot I took a picture of the windows and all of it's panels. For space I took a picture of an electrical outlet and the wall behind it to show all the space it had. For balance I have a picture with the clock on the wall and another object on the wall to balance the two out. For color I took a picture of a gatorade bottle in the vending machine to capture the blue im the bottle. What I learned from this assignment is how to capture photos in a different way than I'm used to.

Composition 1
For this assignment what we had to do was take pictures showing six different views from the camera. The six different views were rule of thirds, texture, pattern, depth of field, symmetry, and lines. The photos I took showed every view I wanted them too. My favorite photo is of the elevator door opening because I think this is a great example of symmetry, and I think it's cool that I got a shot if the elevator door opening. What I learned from this assignment is how to actually use some of the tools that are on the camera. I think I did a really good job using my techniques I just learned. My favorite was doing the symmetry one.
